I'm aware there are some concerns around the accessibility and opening hours of Malton Hospital, following regular closures. I appreciate this is putting pressure on local practices in the area having to deal with urgent care enquiries. I have therefore written to the Integrated Care Board raise this and have been pressing for a swift response.
If Malton Hospital can no longer provide urgent care, local residents need to be made aware and interventions taken. I will work with the Integrated Care Board and local practices to help resolve this in any way possible.
