Very inspiring visit to the Scarborough Construction Skills Village today. It was wonderful to meet these young, bright, enthusiastic apprentices and their excellent trainers.
The Skills Village model of working directly with SME builders to understand their workforce needs and then develop apprenticeships to suit is exactly what this country needs right now.
I very much hope that CSV goes from strength to strength and that the model is rolled out across the UK.
