The previous Government understood that harming businesses, which drive the economy, also harms workers—a point this Government fails to see. The Labour Government's Employment Rights Bill puts the "cart before the horse", especially for small businesses, creating a crisis on a scale not seen since the pandemic. I urge the Government to reconsider, withdraw this legislation and listen to both unions and businesses before it’s too late.
