Malton Hospital Update - 7th July
Following a productive call with the Integrated Care Board (ICB), I've had assurances Malton Hospital was open as normal during May & June. If any constituents think this is not the case, please contact my office. I will continue dialogue with the ICB going forward on Malton Hospital and the broader matter of local health services.
Malton Hospital Update - 24 May
I have now received a response from the Integrated Care Board regarding Malton Hospital, which is attached.
I understand constituents will still have concerns about the facility. I have therefore requested a meeting with the Integrated Care Board and will keep constituents updated with this matter as it progresses.
Malton Hospital Update - 21 April
I'm aware there are some concerns around the accessibility and opening hours of Malton Hospital, following regular closures. I appreciate this is putting pressure on local practices in the area having to deal with urgent care enquiries. I have therefore written to the Integrated Care Board raise this and have been pressing for a swift response.
If Malton Hospital can no longer provide urgent care, local residents need to be made aware and interventions taken. I will work with the ICB and local practices to help resolve this in any way possible.
