I appreciate that this is a difficult time for many people and, in particular, those people who are elderly and vulnerable and may have to be at home for 12 weeks.
You may be finding it difficult to find someone to do your shopping or go to the chemist. If you are able to use the internet the wait for some of the online shopping slots can be longer than a week. Alternatively, you may feel very isolated if you are living on your own and would like a friendly person to talk to.
The good news is that almost every town and village across Thirsk and Malton have voluntary groups ready to help those that need it. I would like to thank everyone for offering to help at this very difficult time.
