I had a busy morning of surgeries today, covering issues such as oil boilers, asbestos, kinship care and planning. Thank you to everyone who attended. My next surgery will be in Easingwold on the 10th November. Book in here: https://www.kevinhollinrake.org.uk/contact
After the surgery, I met with Will and Letty from Thirsk Lodge Estates to visit Thirsk Lodge Barns, which have now been completed. A truly stunning venue to see now, having visited back in 2020 when it was just being constructed.
Finally, I headed to South Kilvington C of E Academy to meet Headteacher, Stephen Butterworth and his wonderful pupils who are working on a project called Climate Crusaders, which involves litter picking. I chatted with pupils about my role in Parliament and how I support the constituency, as well as meeting the School Parliament to talk about my ministerial role. I've previously been Chair of the Tidy Britain APPG so this is an issue very close to my heart. Thank you to the school for an engaging afternoon!
